For anyone who might have been on the fence, last night’s debate cemented Mitt Romney as Presidential material in the eyes of Americans. The blatant lies and half-truths emanating from our Commander-in-Chief were non-stop during the 1 ½ hours. Romney went big and carried the majesty of the office. Barack Obama played small-time ball like a Chicago thug, lobbing nonsensical zingers in attack mode. Following are some of my favorite quotes from President Obama:
Well, my first job as commander in chief, Bob, is to keep the American people safe. And that's what we've done over the last four years.
Tell that to Mrs. Stevens.
You said that we should still have troops in Iraq to this day.
So did you, Mr. President. You tried to extend the SOFA agreement and Iraq kicked us out.
The Obama administration — as it’s telling you itself — was willing to keep troops in Iraq after the 2011 deadline (indeed, they weren’t just willing, but eager). The only reason they aren’t is because the Iraqi Government refused to agree that U.S. soldiers would be immunized if they commit serious crimes, such as gunning down Iraqis without cause ..

What I would not have had done was left 10,000 troops in Iraq that would tie us down. And that certainly would not help us in the Middle East.
Really? That is a bald-faced lie as illustrated above.
You mentioned the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military's changed. We have these things called aircraft carriers, where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines.
Excuse me Mr. President but Aircraft Carriers and Submarines are the Navy.
ROMNEY: And the principles that we put in place, we also gave kids not just a graduation exam that determined whether they were up to the skills needed to — to be able compete, but also if they graduated the quarter of their class, they got a four-year tuition- free ride at any Massachusetts public institution of higher learning.
OBAMA: That happened before you came into office.
As Governor, Romney established the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship Program
to reward the top 25 percent of Massachusetts high school students with a four-year, tuition-free scholarship to any Massachusetts public university or college. Massachusetts had the top rated school system among all the states when Mitt left office in 2007

It is clear that Barack Obama is grasping at straws. His economic illiteracy combined with his apologist lead from behind foreign policy will insure that the US is no longer a shining beacon of power and light. Too many fought too hard and lost their lives to preserve this entity we call the United States of America. Don’t let Barack Obama destroy in 4 years what took 235 years to build. Romney reassured a nervous public that he was not the reincarnation of George W. Bush regarding nation building and would maintain a position of leadership through strength. This reassurance, coupled with his commanding lead vs. Obama on the economy, will help propel him to victory on 11/6/12.
