Now it falls to another Washington Post reporter, Marc Thiessen, to call blarney on Biden’s rhetoric on Syria.  Actually, Thiessen doesn’t call it blarney – he calls it “the Syria coverup.”

Biden claimed that the Administration has done a bang-up job of identifying precisely the right elements of the Syrian resistance to arm, but a Monday report in the New York Times countered that “most of the arms shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar al-Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists, and not the more secular opposition groups that the West wants to bolster, according to American officials and Middle Eastern diplomats.”
