The audacity of that Mitt Romney. How dare he. Can you imagine paying more in taxes than is decreed by law? Who does he think he is? It appears overpaying is a big no no in Liberaland; where they want to raise everyone else’s taxes, by the way. The juxtaposition is absolutely staggering.
The latest installment of Liberal outrage was apparently precipitated by statements from Mr. Romney pledging that he has paid an average of a 13% tax rate the past 10 years. Apparently, charges of tax filing manipulation ensued when the actual deductions in the final return for 2011 differed from the provisional. Cries of outrage emanated from Liberaland, where Romney was also caught on tape saying he would never pay more than the absolute legal minimum or he was not qualified to be President.
Apparently, Mitt Romney must be held to a higher standard than Barack, who himself promised us a single term if he could not fix the economy.
In an interview with Matt Lauer in the beginning of his presidency, Barack Obama said he should only serve one term if he could not fix the economy.
Personally, I care much more about my finances than Mr. Romney’s. And the economy is much more critical to my future than the millions the Romney family earns on their investments. 23 million people unemployed, 40% increase in food stamps, and a net decline in average income over the past 4 years. We are well on our way to a permanent underclass in American society. The problems of Main Street have not been fixed and, despite the numerous attempts by Barack Obama, all signs point to him not being up to the job. He’s had 4 years and there are no guarantees that the next 4 won’t be worse. We have already had QE3 as another feeble attempt to prop up Barack, but to no avail. America deserves better.
Can the Liberals whip up enough faux outrage to pull Barack over the finish line?
Try as they might, it keeps adding up to more and more comedic relief. What we have here are adults acting like children. The juvenile antics from Liberaland have become petty and pedestrian. This has got to end folks. The American people are better than this. The only way to end this bickering is to start a new chapter in American history with Mitt Romney.
