Here’s another Democrat Lie blown wide open, courtesy of GAO.   After yesterday's debacle with Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, one would imagine that they could at least be honest about something.  Turns out GAO has found overreach by the Obama administration.

The Government Accountability Office said Tuesday that the Obama administration should give Congress the chance to block its plan that lets states tweak a welfare-type program that pays needy families.

Mitt Romney had come out against the change proposed by the Obama administration weeks ago, claiming that any change to the Clinton-era Welfare Law Work Requirement would gut the law.    Even more ironic is that Clinton is speaking tonight at the DNC in Charlotte, NC.  I wonder if this will come up during the evening? :)

Vitriol has been spewing for weeks from Team Obama, claiming Romney et al were lying about this proposal and the fact that it would gut welfare.  The fact checking truth team of Obama sycophants quickly rose to the occasion, sparing no venom trying to discredit Romney:

You will surely recall how quickly the Democrats’ now disgraced fact-checking propaganda wing jumped to Obama’s defense when Romney said the Obama rule change would gut the work to welfare reform rules. Now we know that Romney was right to go after the Obama power grab dressed up as an ordinary “information memorandum.”
